About me ~ Angela Aldam, professional genealogist
After gaining my degree from London University, I went on to take a postgraduate Diploma in Information Science at the City University. I then worked in an academic library for 23 years, as a literature researcher and publications editor.
During this time I began to apply my professional skills to researching my own family history. In 2000 I was one of the prize-winners in the Millennium competition to write a 5-generation family history organised by the Institute of Heraldic & Genealogical Studies.

Dear Angela, A very sincere thank you for all the excellent work you have completed for me over the past 18 months. It has been a fascinating journey and I have been very impressed by your professionalism and enthusiasm. Thank you! The final report was a fantastic surprise, not only the content which was thorough and detailed, but in the presentation which was very professional. I can't fault Angela's service, communication was excellent throughout the process and therefore I would not hesitate to recommend her if, like me, you're curious to find a few unknowns facts and truths about your own family! Dear Angela, I am so hugely impressed with the service you offer - most of all, for your wonderful helpfulness, ideas and suggestions. It has totally rekindled my enjoyment of investigating our family history. Thank you. Hi Angela, I am so pleased with the family tree you did for me, it was brilliant, I would like to say thanks for all your hard work. |
